Delete your FolloThrough account

1. Open FolloThrough and sign in to the live account you want to delete.
2. Open the You tab.
3. Scroll to the bottom and choose Delete account.
4. Read the permanent-deletion and subscription warning.
5. If needed, choose Manage subscription first and cancel renewal with your billing provider.
6. Choose Permanently delete my account.

When deletion succeeds, FolloThrough signs the deleted account out on that device, clears its cached app snapshot and returns to the welcome screen.

The deletion service removes the live records associated with the account:

• Your authentication account, profile, display name and account email
• Goals you own, their sharing choices, participant records, history and notification jobs
• Groups you own and their membership records
• Photos or other evidence stored for goals you own
• Invitations you sent, connections, group memberships and goal participation attached to your account
• Notes, cheers and other goal-history events you authored, including those on goals owned by someone else
• Notification preferences, push tokens and the app’s internal billing-entitlement record for the account

Goals owned by someone else remain with their owner, but your participant record and the goal-history events you authored are removed rather than left under an anonymous profile.

Your subscription. Apple, Google and web billing providers do not allow account deletion to cancel renewal on your behalf. Cancel through You → Manage my plan or directly with the provider. Deleting the account also does not create a refund request.

Billing and transaction records. RevenueCat, Apple, Google or Stripe may retain purchase, entitlement, fraud-prevention, refund, tax and accounting records under their own policies and legal duties.

Telemetry already received. Opt-in PostHog events and scrubbed Sentry crash reports are stored separately from the main app database and are not automatically erased by the in-app action. No new events can be associated with the deleted FolloThrough account. Email us if you want us to assess whether an identifiable provider record can be erased as part of a data-rights request.

Provider delivery and recovery records. Email, SMS, push and billing providers may retain limited delivery or transaction logs. Residual encrypted data may also remain temporarily in provider-managed disaster-recovery backups until those backups rotate. It is not available in normal app use and support cannot restore it as an individual account.

Email [email protected] from the address attached to the account, with the subject Account deletion request. Include the display name and sign-in method, but do not send passwords or one-time codes. We will verify ownership and complete a valid request within one month.

If you used Apple’s Hide My Email, contact us from the Apple relay address or include it so we can find the correct account.

• Change the audience of a goal with Manage sharing.
• Remove someone from your accountability circle without deleting the whole account.
• Revoke a pending invitation under You → Sent invitations.
• Turn product analytics off under You → Your preferences → Anonymous product analytics.
• Change notification categories under You → Notifications, or remove device permission in system settings.
• Change your display name under You → Your profile.
